We’re lucky enough to have pizza places within walking distance no matter where you are on the island, but when you’re roaming the boardwalk, all of the options can be a bit overwhelming. Fear not, because this is your guide to five of the tastiest pizza places on the boardwalk.
Preps
Flipping pizzas since 1965, Preps brings an old fashioned taste to the boardwalk. Over the years their perfect balance of stringy cheese and classic sauce has become a tradition for Ocean City locals and visitors alike. Looking for a quintessential summer slice? Head to Preps at 10th and Boardwalk, and grab some of their hand-dipped ice cream while you’re at it!
Manco & Manco
Possibly the post popular pizza in town, Manco & Manco is an Ocean City icon and local favorite. Loaded with a signature blend of lightly toasted mozzarella cheese and sauce seasoned with just the right blend of spices, over a crispy thin crust, who can resist this shore classic? Ocean City is lucky enough to have three Manco & Manco stores on the boardwalk (on 8th, 9th, and 12th) plus another right over the bridge in Somers Point, to cure your craving whenever it may call.
Tony P’s
Although Tony P’s House of Pie is a little newer to the Ocean City pizza game, they’re already known and loved by many. This pizza has savory sauce and fluffy crust that customers absolutely love. Their fresh cheese is just icing on the cake. And, in case you thought it couldn’t get better, they serve treats you won’t find anywhere else on the boardwalk like fried raviolis and Nutella pizza! On your next trip to Ocean City, keep an eye out for Tony P’s House of Pie on 9th and Boardwalk.
Pisa
Located on 8th and Boardwalk, Pisa Pizzeria is home to the authentic Italian slice you’ve been looking for. Their generous dose of blended cheeses atop a chewy, thin crust makes Pisa a happy alternative to your traditional boardwalk pizza. Grab a slice to go, or eat in and check out the variety of delicious Italian meals they have to offer.
Big Slice LLC
Extra hungry? Make your way to Big Slice LLC at 9th and Boardwalk. With each slice talking up two plates (and then some), this pizza has definitely earned it’s name. And it’s not just the size that makes Big Slice a fan-favorite.Their hearty tomato sauce, made with fresh basil, is the sweet flavor you’ll be craving long after your stay in Ocean City. This is the pizza you’ll have to see to believe!
